With $150,000 earned so far, Sit Stay Society Wines has raised an awesome sum for pets in need.
They’ve added a new white wine to their popular 375ml collection to commemorate this important occasion: Gracie’s Gewürztraminer Riesling.
On a wonderful afternoon at the beach, we were fortunate enough to drink this fantastic wine with a purpose. With the addition of Gracie’s Gewürztraminer Riesling to the Sit Stay Society lineup, Ruby’s Rosé, Violet’s Grüner Veltliner, Mario’s Mataro Montepulciano, Max’s Cabernet Malbec, and Toby’s Shiraz Tempranillo are now available.
This money goes to PetRescue, a national animal welfare organization dedicated to a future where every pet is secure, respected, and cherished. Every bottle sold in the range donates fifty cents to PetRescue’s adoption programs and services, ensuring that every pet is safe, respected, and loved in the future.
Vickie said the donation from Sit Stay Society Wines helped to fund PetRescue’s national large-scale 2020-2021 donation program for pets in need, which included $670,721.57 in free pet food donated to rescue organizations, 200,601 dog coats to keep rescue pets warm, and upgrades to the PetRescue adoption platform to make it faster and easier to match pets with new families.
“It’s fantastic that Sit Stay Society has added a new item to their famous assortment, featuring one of Australia’s most popular breeds, the Staffie.” Staffies and Staffie mixes are loyal and playful by nature, and they are often a blend of breeds, just like a delectable drop of Gewürztraminer Riesling, which has a variety of several grape kinds, making them a great, flexible companion that suits a wide range of households and lifestyles,” Vickie said.
She explained that there had been an 8.5 percent increase in visitors to the website last year due to the pandemic, with 6,258,031 pet lovers accessing the PetRescue adoption platform and 275,788 inquiries for pets available for adoption – one every two minutes.
“It’s wonderful that so many people want to adopt a rescue pet to love and welcome into their homes. Thanks to Sit Stay Society Wines’ generous contributions, we’ve been able to assist make the adoption process run smoothly and efficiently, allowing us to find homes for creatures in need.”
