Caravan Park Tropic Breeze

This park always sells out quickly because of its excellent location, friendly staff, and well-maintained amenities.

The unpowered portion, tents, camp kitchen, pool, and condos are pet-free zones. Please advise the staff of the type of pet you have and how many you have when making a reservation; the park only allows a specific number of pets. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and owners must not leave pets alone.

Cafes and Pubs That Accept Pets

A visit to the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina is a “must” while in town, and many cafes in Port Douglas welcome pets. We went to Hemingway’s Brewery, where dogs are welcome in the outside area with their human owners.

Sightseeing

You can visit the Captain Cook Highway Rock Stacks, a must-see for Instagram-worthy photos. The origins of who built the rock stacks are unclear, which adds to their mystery. They’re immediately before the Rex Lookout, but be careful when pulling up here because the halting bay is set up for southbound traffic.
